About Us

We are a start-up micro business that wants to sell non-hybrid, non-GMO, chemically-free or organic garden seeds. We also have organic specialty corn for home grinding to make corn meal or other products. I have been gardening off-and-on for 40+ years but only in the past few years have I started saving open pollinated seeds for continued use. I now want to pass some of that self-satisfaction on to you!

We are located in southeast South Dakota on land that was once tall grass prairie that ranged across the undulating plains between drainages and streams that become tributaries of the Big Sioux River. Many of our seed and grain offerings come from a farm, now certified organic,* that has been in the same family ownership since the 1870s. We enjoy working the land in a more traditional and sustainable way. The production of wholesome, home-grown food is our desire and our goal is to extend that to you in your location.
