Black Sea Purple (usually called Purple Russian) is a later season, indeterminate, pointed oval, two-tone colored (deep maroon to green top) tomato that generally bears 3 to 5 oz fruits. It is considered an heirloom tomato originating from the north Black Sea region. This tomato can be used for making paste, good in salads, and dried slices.
