Georgia Rattlesnake Watermelon Seeds

Georgia Rattlesnake Watermelon. This is a striped, oblong melon that produces fruit of medium-to-large sizes. It has red flesh and considered an heirloom variety. Melons tend to grow better in lighter soils. The melons these seeds come from were grown in my “wild garden” that’s located on an organic farm under mostly drought conditions in 2023 so probably individual plants that had more drought tolerance germinated and produced fruit. I can’t call these “organic” because they are not on the farmer’s crop manifest that was turned in for certification but I can call them “chemically free.” I was rather disappointed with the germination test for these, it could have been the way I did it, but because of the low score, the packet price has been reduced. 25 seeds. $1.49/packet (sales tax included).
