Hidatsa Shield Shell Bean for seed

Hidatsa Shield Bean. This a pole bean primarily used as a shelled dry bean. It is a Native American heritage variety that was grown in the Upper Missouri River area of the Northern Great Plains. I grew these beans both at my home garden and my “wild garden” that’s located on an organic farm. That location had much drought conditions in 2024 so some individual plants may have had more drought tolerance that produced beans there, although both the home and “wild” garden outputs are intermingled in these packages. I can’t call these “organic” because they are not on the farmer’s crop manifest that was turned in for certification but I can call them “chemically free.” 50 seeds (+ 10%). $2.98/packet (includes sales tax).
